Job Description
RCL FOODS is currently searching for a Senior Artisan to join the Foods Division based in Krugersdorp. The role reports to the Engineering Manager and requires an experienced Artisan with strong leadership skills who has worked within an FMCG and Manufacturing environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Plant and work Inspections
Set the standard of workmanship
Follow up on tasks completed by team members
Housekeeping of workshop and work areas
List jobs arising – and prioritize these jobs
Ensure food safety rules and GMPs are followed in production areas.
Minimum Requirements
N6 National Certificate in Engineering
Trade tested as Artisan
Minimum of 3 years post-trade experience
Leadership/supervisory experience
Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience (mechanical or electrical) in the FMCG industry with Supervisory management training
Experience in logical problem solving and error detection techniques
