Short Description / Purpose of Job
An Artisan supports production by providing effective equipment maintenance and reliability while adhering to procedures/codes and utilizing all available support resources to increase stability and maintain the sustainability of the plant and/or equipment.
Knowledge of Lift and move and Rigging
Inventory management including consumable spares
People skills and leadership skills required
Design and implement improvement concepts and ideas
Job maturity
Be a motivated self-starter and willing to learn
Formal Education
Grade 12 or Equivalent with Maths & Science (must)
Fitter &Turner Trade Test Certificate.
Code 08 driver’s license
Mechatronics training will be an advantage
Min Experience
5 -8 years experience as an Artisan.
