Full Job Description
Purpose
To coordinate, facilitate and manage planned maintenance work execution by planning, organising and controlling activities relating to scheduled work. The role is also responsible for implementation of policies and strategies for the management of assets and equipment.
Main Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Ensure that maintenance scheduling work packages are developed and work is executed as per the maintenance plan
- Ensure that preventative and corrective maintenance is scheduled concurrently for execution
- Ensure spares management process is in place, keep track of supply and materials inventories required for maintenance execution
The Preferred Candidate is likely to have:
- National Diploma (N6) in Engineering
- Trade Test in Engineering
- Planning and Scheduling course (added advantage)
- 3 – 5 years in Maintenance Planning/Coordination or 5 – 8 years as a Maintenance Artisan
Knowledge and Skills:
- Mechanical & Electrical Engineering knowledge
- Knowledge of CMMS
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Act
- Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
