MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Inspecting, testing and repairing all mechanical installations and equipment. Maintenance of the plant and equipment as stipulated by the planned maintenance system. Supervision and delegation of work to subordinates. Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards. Undertake to do standby and call-outs when required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Matric plus N3 Mechanical fitting (Trade test). Skilled fitter with experience in a production environment. 3-5 years’ experience as fitter. Drivers licence. Experience with heavy machinery is essential.
