Description
We are looking for a talented ONSITE TECHNICIAN to join our team specializing in SERVICEfor our DISTRIBUTION BUSINESS SEGMENT in KURUMAN, NORTHERN CAPE, SOUTH AFRICA.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Conduct maintenance of Cummins engines as well as to troubleshoot and diagnose faults
- Repair engines within Cummins spec and Cummins SRT’s
- Complete service reports accurately and timeously
- Establish/maintain good customer relations and ensure prompt and efficient attention to customer needs
- Provide service ensuring quality workmanship at all times as well as completing repairs within Cummins stipulated timings
- Willingness to work overtime and after hours availability for call outs when necessary
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- At least 5 years’ post trade test experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Fitter or Millwright
- Extensive Cummins Product knowledge will be an advantage
- Ability to complete repairs without supervision
- Ability to think systematically and work unaccompanied
