Job Desciption
Novus Print: Port Elizabeth is seeking to appoint a Printers Electrician in the maintenance department. The successful incumbent will report to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for electrical maintenance on printing presses, mailroom equipment as well as general maintenance
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Regular scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of all electrical equipmentin the press and mailroom departments
- General electrical maintenance, including identifying and repairs of electrical faults
- Perform fault finding on all printing presses and mailroom equipment
- Oversee and manage project installations and upgrades of equipment
- Adhere and comply with OHS Act, safety procedures and report unsafe acts
- Receive and complete jobs on Shopware
- (computerised maintenance programme)
Educational Requirements
- Grade 12 National Certificate
- Trade tested qualified printers electrician
Experience Requirements
- Relevant experience in the printing industry

- Ability to work independently with minimum supervisIon in a team
- Computer literate
- Flexible to work long hours, overtime and standby if required
