- 3D CMM Measuring skills
- FARO / Romer Arm Measuring skills
- Fault finding skill using data
- National Diploma Mechanical Engineering
- 2-3 Years: 3D CMM Measuring /Faro/ Romer Arm Measuring in the Automotive industry.
- Arrange BIW/Sub-assemblies for CMM/Scan Box as per schedule
- Measure BIW/Sub-assemblies on CMM/Scan Box
- Ensure Data is uploaded from CMM/Scan Box into Web Based Data Management
- Analyze Data from Web Based Data Management
- Highlight all out of spec points to the responsible engineer
- Assist with investigations regarding dimensional concerns of sub-assemblies & bought finished parts
- Measure assembly fixtures using FARO Arm
- Generate reports from FARO Arm measurements
- Measure sheet metal parts using 3D Scanner (GOM)
- Analyze data from 3D Scanner
- Generate reports form 3D scanner
- Evaluate parts dimensions using the Part Checking Fixture or Exterior Trim Co-ordination Buck & make recommendations to correct any errors
- Participate in house-keeping activities within the DCD Lab & PCF/TCB areas
- Work shifts (3 shift pattern)
- Work overtime as and when required
