Job Description
Join Lactalis at our Bonnievale Plant in the Engineering department with the main responsibilities for the day to day shutdown and pro-active maintenance work in Plant. Comply too safe standard working procedures. Must have at least 2 years experiences within maintenance environment. Must have Trade Tested certificate as a Welder. Must be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of quality and full adherence to all Safety & Health policies, procedures and legislation. Be fluent in English and be computer literate.
Required Skills
- Grade 12 and Trade Tested as a Welder
- Be computer literate
- At least 2 years experiences in manufacturing environment.
- Willing to work long hours, shifts, overtime, weekends and public holidays.
- Must not be afraid of heights.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Must be able to work alone at times.
- Must have good problem solving skills.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Physical strength and good health.
- Have knowledge of pumps and valves.
- Basic fitter skills will be an advantage.
Duties & Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for assisting the welder in the day to day and shutdown maintenance welding work on the plant.
- Organising and cleaning welding bay on a daily basis.
- Adhere to occupational health and safety standards.
- Adhere to quality control as laid out in the company policies.
- Follow process procedures as laid out by management.
- Complete schedule and Adhoc job cards and capturing utilization hours.
