Job Description
-You will be responsible for:
- Review the process performance reports
- Implement corrective action for areas of instability
- Analyze and identify problems on the current systems and infrastructure
- System trouble shooting and software and hardware problems resolution
- Support on existing networks, hardware and software
- Implementation of modifications to the control solution
- Adherence to the Anglo Platinum Change Procedure
- Execution and testing of scheduled backups on all control systems
- Adherence to Anglo Platinum Standards
- Training and development of end users
- Schedule and priorities maintenance tasks
This role reports to the Control Systems Analyst.
Qualifications
-You must have:
- National Technical Diploma in Computer Science (Majoring in Software Development) or relevant NQF level 4 equivalent
Experience required:
- 2 years relevant work experience in software development.
- Experience in Process Control Systems will be advantageous
- Advanced computer literacy and IT skills

- VBA
- SQL
- Excel (advanced)
- Troubleshooting
- HTML, and XML will be advantageous
- FactoryTalk View will be advantageous
- OPC DA and UA will be advantageous
- OSI Pi with AF will be advantageous
- English literate
- Good decision-making skills
- Valid driving license
- Medical fitness assessment test
