Job description
Job Objectives
- To coordinate and maintain stock movement and balances in the section to ensure accuracy of stock
- To accept joint responsibility for scratches and adjustments to minimise shrinkage
- To ensure efficient and accurate auditing of stock and processes as per sectional scorecard to ensure compliance
- To liaise effectively with internal partners to ensure the smooth running of the section to meet DC requirements
- To investigate deviations between physical and system stock in order to report and rectify where necessary
- To adhere to statutory health and safety requirements, housekeeping standards and all other internal policies to ensure compliance
- To provide support to the picking team by ensuring that the required stock is in the slots to meet infill targets
Minimum requirements
Job Knowledge:
- Desirable: General understanding of stock flow in a warehouse
- Desirable: Basic materials handling knowledge

- Essential: Basic Numeracy & Literacy
- Essential: Communication- written and verbal
- Essential: Problem solving skills
- Essential: Conflict resolution and management of conflict skills

Job Experience:
- Desirable: General warehouse experience
Education:
- Essential: Matric
- Desirable: Maths (subject)
