MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or agricultural environment, with a strong emphasis on mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of industrial mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, and conveyors.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program and/or certification in mechanical or electrical systems preferred.
- Ability to work with heavy equipment and supplies.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and tolerate dusty and noisy environments.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems and equipment to identify and fix any issues promptly.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults on various equipment, including the processing machines, conveyor belts, and irrigation pump stations.
