Job Advert Summary
Rainbow Chickens is currently on the lookout for a skilled Handyman to join our Engineering Team. This role will be based on our Worcester Processing Plant and will report into the Grounds and Building Coordinator.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent is required.
- Must have proven working knowledge/experience of building and construction
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as per operational requirements.
- Punctuality and attendance reliability;
- Effective teamwork and self-management
- Driver’s license is compulsory.
- Working knowledge of assembling scaffolding and safety thereof
Duties and Responsibilities
- Storage and Maintenance of tool
- General repairs and maintenance
- Ensure safety, health, environment, risk and quality measures are in place.
- Scaffolding building and safety
- Painting, welding, plumbing and building maintenance practices.
- Hazards and safety precautions
- Manual dexterity
- Standby duties
- Water reading
