Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • A tertiary qualification in Office Administration or any related field would be an advantage
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience as a Receptionist in a clerical or administrative role required.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner, and answer any questions visitors have
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
  • Maintain reception area in an orderly, clean, and tidy manner at all times
  • Ensure visitors sign in and out when arriving or leaving the premises
  • Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail
  • Take inventory of supplies and restock as needed for the boardroom kitchen and the marketing storeroom
  • Manage the external visitor boardrooms (ensure they are clean, manage bookings and resolve booking conflicts)
  • Assist management where needed

  • Proficient in relevant computer applications
  • Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations appropriately
