Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):
• Welder Trade Test
• Equivalent welder qualification registered and recognised by the Government of RSA
Experience:
• 2 years relevant post qualification experience

• Be able to do all types of welding processes
• Proficient in the use of Basic hand tools
• Basic planning skills
• Computer literacy
Knowledge:
• Have sound knowledge and proficiency in welding of various components to drawing as per procedure and process quality plans
• Good measuring skills and techniques
• Knowledge of different welding machines, tools and equipment, processes, consumable and materials
• Ability to maintain high quality standard of work
• Familiar with the OSHACT 85 of 1993
• Basic knowledge of Quality systems
• In depth knowledge of welding techniques
