Emerald a subsidiary of Santam has a position available for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant who will be based in Johannesburg.
What will you do?
The role includes, but not limited to the following;
- Demonstrate knowledge of Emerald products and services to ensure clients are directed to the correct departments.
- Provide a high-level front-line reception role and display a professional business approach to visitors, clients, and fellow staff members.
- Ensure incoming and outgoing switchboard calls are managed confidently, professionally, and effectively.
- Accepting clients or visitors at a professional level on a daily basis
- Manage incoming and outgoing couriers, including scheduling courier pick-ups.
- Managing all incoming and outgoing postage on a daily basis, including sorting and distribution.
- Assisting People and Brand with functions as and when required
- Ad- Hoc duties
The individual should provide a high level of call handling and display a professional business approach to visitors, clients, and fellow staff members.
Individual applying for this position needs to be self-disciplined, professional, be well presented, self-motivated and possess excellent written communication and administrative skills.
Minimum Requirements
- Non-negotiable minimum three years’ experience in reception or frontline position
- Matric with English
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Attention to detail, analytical
- Further qualification in relevant field will also be an advantage
