Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the marketing team.
- Write, edit, update, and publish content on the company’s corporate website and associated website(s).
- Participate in the ideation and creation of social media content.
- Assist with designing retailer website banners.
- Assist with the planning and coordinating of marketing events (festivals, exhibitions, workshops).
- Collect and collate data required by the Marketing Manager to prepare monthly departmental management
- Perform all marketing administration functions accurately and within the required deadlines.
- Support the marketing team’s archive function by efficiently filing and storing relevant marketing material.

Minimum requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing or similar.
- At least 1 -2 years’ experience in marketing in a similar industry.
- Proficiency in relevant software packages and applications.
- Sound digital background, with a passion for books.
- An Interest in pursuing new marketing opportunities and new ways of reaching readers, whilst staying abreast of wider book trends.
Skills and competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work well as a team player.
- Ability to prioritise competing demands and excellent organization ability.
- Time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
- Experience in Canva, In Design and Photoshop.
