KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Stable Production – Breakdown prevention and recovery.
- Electrical repairs on plant equipment / facilities and reticulation.
- Support equipment & facility upgrades / projects.
- Fault finding on plant equipment / facilities / reticulation.
- Preventative maintenance & legal compliance checks.
- X Functional Support to other departments (Eg Poduction, quality, engineering, PESD and PEPD).
- Spare parts management: Organising and planning spares for maintenance activities.
- Work in accordance with ISO standards & maintain safety, health and environment standards.
- Mentorship of apprentices. Continuous learning and self-improvement.
- Implementation of environmental, quality, cost, safety and productivity kaizens.
- Data capturing, analysis and reporting.
Note : Must be prepared to:
- Work shifts (Including PM Shift) and
- Support overtime, shutdowns, callouts, and standby as and when required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum N4 + Trade Test (Electrical) + Wireman’s Licence + Mater Electrician Cert.
- Minimum 3 years post apprenticeship maintenance experience in a manufacturing / manufacturing equivalent environment.
- Experience in working with substations & associated reticulation.
- Experience in / knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance systems.
- MV Training and Switching permit would be advantageous.
- MV Substation experience would be advantageous.
- Experience in / knowledge of OHS Act (Compliance management) would be advantageous.
