KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Stable Production – Breakdown prevention and recovery.
  • Electrical repairs on plant equipment / facilities and reticulation.
  • Support equipment & facility upgrades / projects.
  • Fault finding on plant equipment / facilities / reticulation.
  • Preventative maintenance & legal compliance checks.
  • X Functional Support to other departments (Eg Poduction, quality, engineering, PESD and PEPD).
  • Spare parts management: Organising and planning spares for maintenance activities.
  • Work in accordance with ISO standards & maintain safety, health and environment standards.
  • Mentorship of apprentices. Continuous learning and self-improvement.
  • Implementation of environmental, quality, cost, safety and productivity kaizens.
  • Data capturing, analysis and reporting.

Note : Must be prepared to:

  • Work shifts (Including PM Shift) and
  • Support overtime, shutdowns, callouts, and standby as and when required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum N4 + Trade Test (Electrical) + Wireman’s Licence + Mater Electrician Cert.
  • Minimum 3 years post apprenticeship maintenance experience in a manufacturing / manufacturing equivalent environment.
  • Experience in working with substations & associated reticulation.
  • Experience in / knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance systems.
  • MV Training and Switching permit would be advantageous.
  • MV Substation experience would be advantageous.
  • Experience in / knowledge of OHS Act (Compliance management) would be advantageous.
