Job Description
- Maintain existing customer base and relationships including multi-level visits and execution of effective brick walling strategies
- Managing and forecasting the importation of stock relevant to the portfolio, as well as the reorder profile
- Monitor market trends and competitor’s activities.
- Create action plans and drive increased value at allocated customers.
- Responsible for execution of the sales strategy and growth projects
- Consistently look for opportunities to grow portfolio
- Develop new business and customers by promoting product range, running trials and effective pipeline execution.
- Monthly and annual reporting e.g. forecast, pipeline updates and budgets
- Achieve sales targets and forecasts
- Price negotiations and communication
- Interact between customers, production and purchasing to ensure that orders go out timeously
- Must be prepared to travel
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric / Grade 12, preferably with Mathematics and Science.
- A degree or diploma in a Commercial or Chemical related field.
- Must have minimum of 3 years’ lubricant additive or related sales or technical experience.
- Must come from the lubricant and oil or related industries.
- Previous experience advising or selling oil additives to both multinational oils companies plus independents or related is preferred but not essential.
- Petroleum refining and/or processing knowledge related to refineries and gas processing would be ideal.
