We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant, who can support the team in delivering internal communications and employee engagements at MiWay.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide administrative support, coordinate and assist in the implementation of internal communications and EVP marketing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Internal Marketing team.
  • Follow up with and resolve supplier quotation, invoice/ payment queries.
  • Responsible for sourcing, ordering, distribution, and inventory management of promotional items, branding and marketing literature.
  • Assist with the production of marketing materials and literature.
  • Responsible for the administration of MiWay internal communication platforms.
  • Assist with event co-ordination and implementation.
  • Assist with internal communications activities.
  • Assisting with queries and general office administration, including ad-hoc marketing duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualification Required

  • Post – Matric/ Diploma/ Qualification in Marketing/ Communications.

Minimum Experience Required

  • 2+ years’ marketing / administrative experience.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy (esp. written).
  • Self-starter, who can take the initiative and work independently.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a team.
