Job Purpose:

The Administrative Assistant’s role is to provide support to the Product Manager(s) and Specialists from an administrative perspective. This individual will also interact with the sales teams by providing a degree of insight and advice pertaining to the products, therefore a certain degree of product-specific and technical knowledge is also required.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate detailed reports on sell-out, inventory, profitability, etc.
  • Provide informed advice/insight for sales queries (product-specific).
  • Generate basic Bill of Materials (BOMs) and quotes based on customer-specific requirements.
  • Keep track of inbound stock ETAs and shipping documents.
  • Correspond with suppliers for necessary documents and information.
  • Strong understanding of Energy-related products.
  • Assist in expediting operational processes when necessary.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 Years experience in Technical and/or Sales relating to Energy/Infrastructure products
  • Matric certificate (compulsory)
  • Advanced/Tertiary education or training in electrical and/or infrastructure products (advantageous)

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Technical skills
  • Understand various sustainable energy designs, to draw up a Bill of Materials for a solar PV system
  • Problem solving skills (analytical)
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Presentation skills for training Sales force
  • Quality awareness and customer focus
  • Attention to detail
