Job Description

-As a Fitter , you will provide services as required and your responsibilities will include:

• Adhere to all health and safety practices requirements and promote good housekeeping to ensure compliance and an environment where team members can deliver their outputs within a controlled risk environment.
• Ensure Learners under your supervision adhere to all relevant safety standards & procedures .
• Maintain and test all equipment / machinery to ensure functionality, safety, reliability and availability to complete jobs within the specified time frame and budgetary limits.
• Ensure effective maintenance of plant equipment and related machinery to ensure optimal utilization and availability toward maximizing production and throughput schedules.
• Identify and report defects, equipment failures and time required to do repairs to the Supervisor to enable applicable decision-making, action planning and problem resolution.
