Job Description
Join Lactalis at our Bonnievale Plant in the Cheese Engineering department with the main responsibilities to assist the instrumentation technicians with maintenance of control instrumentation and calibrations thereof. Instrumentation registers (logbooks) up to date and calibrations done to set intervals. The candidate will be responsible for schedule maintenance of scales, ink jet coders and labelers. The individuals’ main area of responsibility will be to assist the instrumentation technicians with his day to day task for the complete plant. Ensure that the work area of responsibility is kept clean and tidy. Comply too safe standard working procedures. Must have at least 2 years experiences within maintenance environment. Must have basic control experience and understanding of control automation systems. Be fluent in English and be computer literate.
Required Skills

- Grade 12 and NTC certificate or equivalent

- Must have at least basic experience in the maintenance and understanding of control/automated systems

Duties & Responsibilities:

- To assist with calibrations

- To assist with maintenance of instrumentation.

- To assist with replacement of faulty instruments.

- To assist instrumentation technicians with daily tasks and inspections

- Adhere to quality and food safety standards.
- Adhere to NOSA and ISO 45000 implementation
