On the Dot: Sales Admin Assistant

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare client requests by gathering relevant information, compiling, and ensuring deadlines are met;
  • Offer sales support to Key Account Managers by compiling client proposals and following up on stock deliveries;
  • Liaise directly with customers and ensure customer requests are implemented;
  • Compile proposals, send out to customers, follow up telephonically , process and send off for invoicing and distribution;
  • Perform data processing and generate reports including weekly turnover reports stock reports for Key Account management;
  • Compile sales documentation for presentations when necessary in attractive and visual presentation style;
  • Liaise telephonically with customers regarding urgent orders or queries when Key Account Managers are not available;
  • Offer general administrative support to the team; and
  • Maintain a filing system of Sales documentation.

Requirements

  • Grade 12/ matric
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • At least 1-2 years experience in an administrative role, with some exposure/experience in Sales Support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • SAP experience
