Key Duties and Responsibilities

• •  Responsible for the execution of project driven electrical and electronic
    installations and maintenance according to SABS regulations

• • Assess the maintenance and electrical requirements of jobs assigned and
    allocated

• • Execute and attend to electrical maintenance tasks, equipment and breakdowns

• • Adhere to safety procedures, operation of equipment and report unsafe practices

• • Regularly conduct plant inspections and carry out planned maintenance
    schedules

• • Conduct monthly safety inspection of equipment

• • Providing technical support to the mechanical and production departments

• • Fault inspection of machinery including PLC, AC and DC drives

• Willing to work on standby based on operational requirements

Educational Requirements

•  N6, T3 or S4 certificate or equivalent electrical trade qualification

• •  Stress tolerant and deadline driven

• •  Aptitude for problem solving, along with an attention to detail

• • Self-motivated

• • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills

• • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and part of a team

• • Ability to read and understand technical and mechanical schematic drawings

• • Computer literate

• Strong analytical skills
