Position Overview

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining company records and perform various administrative and archival tasks such as coding files, storing files in alphabetical or numerical order, managing databases, photocopying, and delivering files to staff. They may also be asked to perform other clerical tasks.

Specific Role Responsibilities

  • Checking incoming paperwork (correspondence, invoices etc.) and making copies before distributing.
  • Sorting all papers alphabetically and according to content, dates, significance etc.
  • Creating or update records with new files and information.
  • Developing and maintaining databases; Labelling and updating paper files;
  • Track and manage all the incoming paperwork.
  • Retrieve files as necessary.
  • Battery maintenance on New Cars.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience as file clerk.
  • Knowledge of filing systems.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and office equipment such as photocopier, scanner etc.
  • Good command of English both oral and written.
  • Dependable with a respect to confidentiality and policies.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Matric (NQ Level4)
  • 2-3 Motor industry experience.
