Position outputs:
Mechanical fault finding and repairs to electro-hydraulic machines including CNC and motorised equipment.
Mechanical overhaul, modifications, upgrade of machines and equipment including new installations.
Assemble machines, and bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools and
power tools.
Conduct preventative maintenance and repair, and lubricate machines and equipment and reporting on defects
Construct foundation for machines, using hand tools and building materials such as wood, cement, and steel.
Maintenance and repairs of all plant, equipment and machinery
Qualifications & Experience:
Must be a qualified Red Seal Artisan: Millwright.
Must have N2/Grade 12 with Maths.
Min 2 years’ applicable/relevant experience.
Must be in possession of a valid code 08 drivers licence.
Must be prepared to travel. (Mostly serving the outlying Ports Depots i.e PE, Ngqurha and East London)
Must be prepared to work after hours and work shifts as per business’ requirements.
