Motus Isuzu Bloemfontein currently holds a vacancy for a Fitter
Reporting to the Service Manager the person in this role will be expected to perform activities by installing approved accessories accurately as per agreed OEM standard operating procedures and requirements
Position Overview
Specific Role Responsibilities
- Deliver on agreed performance targets according to set procedures and service level agreements.
- Execute work in line with governance and compliance processes.
- Fit customized accessories to vehicles as per M requirements and procedures.
- Identify and apply known solutions to operational challenges and escalate unresolved issues.
- Record and report on work activities to provide timely and accurate information for decision making in area of accountability.
- Support technicians in vehicle servicing when customized accessories need to be repaired or replaced.
- Execute work activities effectively and efficiently in order to maximize efficiencies and reduce unnecessary delays in achieving goals of the office.
- Deliver services and/or products that create a culture which aims to meet or exceed customers’ expectations in the business.
- Deliver work activities effectively to satisfy customers
- Attend learning initiatives to improve work quality and enhance own skills.
- Own and live up to company values.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of Grade 12
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- The candidate must have experience with Lumir Safety Film
- A valid Driver’s License
- Computer literacy is essential
- Clear Criminal Record
- Achieve high levels of accuracy and attention to detail

- Need excellent – Fix right first time track record.
- Knowledge of OEM operating computer programs
- Be able to use Manufacturer diagnostic equipment / computer (Vas Machines) 2 Years technician experience.
- Have sound English communication and writing skills to accurately record findings and work on job cards.
- Need computer skills.
