Babylonstoren has an exciting opportunity for a passionate administration assistant to join the garden team.

Requirements

  • Post-school qualification in administration or a relevant field.
  • Experience in customer services and administration.
  • Must be able to work under pressure.
  • Neat and organised.
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • General garden administration.
  • Handling of uniforms.
  • Manage the clock in system and process overtime hours.
  • Orders for purchases.
  • Issue invoices and handle queries.
  • Process monthly Agrimark statements for allocations/purchases.
  • Handle contracts for new staff.
  • Assist with the following administrative tasks:
    • Training interns
    • Tours and activities
    • Weekend roster
    • Garden’s yearly programme
  • Manage keys for vehicles.
  • Assist with the management of volunteers and interns.
  • Updating the garden database.
