Successful candidates will be accountable to the Senior Electrical Technician. To qualify for these positions most suitable candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- S4 Electrical Engineering or an Equivalent Qualification as per the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and RPL – SAQA would be considered.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment.
- Instrumentation experience will be an added advantage.
Basic/Brief Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Electrical Maintenance;
- Electrical Systems Upgrade;
- Must be able to Setup, Program and do Faultfinding on S5/S7 Siemens PLC, Siemens Master Drives and Intouch HMI systems;
- Involved in the smooth running and optimization of the plant;
- Must willing and able to perform standby duties;
- Must have a valid driver’s license to perform standby duties and get to work.
