PURPOSE OF 18.2 LEARNERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAMMES

The aim of the Learnership opportunities is to provide life-long skills that
everyone can use to the benefit of themselves, their families, and even their
communities.

Fields of Training Programmes
• Auto Electrician
• Diesel Mechanic
• Fitter
• Plater Welder
• Millwright

Minimum Entry Level Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
• Communication skills– good written and verbal
• Interpersonal skills
• Computer literacy (Basic user)
• Technical skills
Other Requirements
(Essential unless otherwise indicated)
• A Valid Code B/EB driver’s licence (Essential)
• Preparation and / study for assessments after hours to be done
• As part of the recruitment and enrolment process, candidates will be
required to complete certain assessments such as Psychometric
assessments, Knowledge-based assessments, Aptitude assessments,
Language and Mathematical skills levels etc.
• Certified medically fit as per the Mine Health and Safety Act 29/1996
and meets the requirements of the Company’s Code of Practice –
Minimum standards of fitness to perform work at a Mine.
