Qualifications:
- Matriculation Certificate
- Millwright Trade Qualification OR Trade Fitter & Turner or Fitter with CNC machine experience
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience with CNC machines in the manufacturing sector
- Proficiency with a variety of machines, including Okuma, Haas, Victor, and Doosan, as well as controls like Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, and Mazak
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy objects
- Possession of a forklift license is an advantage
- Flexible approach, willing to work overtime and respond to callouts when needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Showcase mechanical expertise and effective troubleshooting skills
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for CNC machines
- Maintain accurate documentation and administrative records, including details of failures and repair adjustments
- Embrace new machinery installations and rapidly acquire skills for emerging technologies
- Exhibit a natural curiosity and interest in new technologies, aiding in areas like cataloguing and purchasing
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and practices
- Provide clear and constructive guidance to machine operators
