Duties and responsibilities
- To support the Maintenance Manager: Infra-Red Scanning & Quality with all planning/coordination of annual infra-red scanning and testing at required properties.
- To support the Maintenance Manager: Infra-Red Scanning & Quality with additional safety and quality inspections when visiting properties for infra-red scanning activities.
- To support the Maintenance Manager: Infra-Red Scanning & Quality to execute infra-red scanning and testing, and all other inspection activities responsibly and in accordance with the Health and Safety Act.
- To support the Maintenance Manager: Infra-Red Scanning & Quality to sufficiently document all infra-red scanning and testing and all other inspection activities and keep related records for auditing and compliance purposes.
- To be vigilant and identify and highlight unsafe or hazardous situations to the Maintenance Manager.
- To ensure, always, their own safety, and that of all other person/s when executing any activities at a property.
- To ensure that compliance is maintained with the OHS Act, and all building and statutory regulations.
- Ensure that all scanning and testing equipment is handled with care and always kept safe.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the facilities management environment.
- Minimum 1 year working with electrical installations in a building environment.
- Experience with MS Office – Excel and Word.
Exposure to the following
- Knowledge of health and safety relating to electrical equipment.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and relevant legislation.
- Knowledge of electrical installations is extremely essential.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma – Electrical Technician beneficial.
