We are looking for a Boilermaker to support our team in Richards Bay, Kwa-Zulu Natal.
Responsibilities
- Work not only in the workshop doing fabrications, but also in the plant by repairing and installing equipment whilst working closely with the site Fitters.
- Develop and fabricating piping, steelwork, structures as well as demonstrating advanced workshop skills, such as lobster bends, elbows, chutes and square to round development.
- Hand on with regards to problem solving I.E to go to equipment, decide on possible solutions, measure up, design, develop, then do fabrication.
Requirements
- Trade Tested Plater/ Boilermaker.
- At least 5 years’ post trade experience in a chemical plant.
- Experience in stick, Argon and MiG CO welding essential.
- SAP planned maintenance experience essential.
- Basic fitting knowledge.
- Experience with mild steel and various grades of stainless steel.
