Criteria:
- Certified technician holding a minimum of a T3 National Technicians Certificate
- Formal electrical training by way of either an apprenticeship or a minimum of 5 years practical training
- Preferably have a Wireman’s License
- Have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position
- Experience in programming and troubleshooting industrial PLC’s and controllers
- Experience in LT maintenance covering switchgear and production equipment
- Own vehicle essential
Skills and duties:
- Maintaining production equipment
- Programming and fault finding on PLC’s
- Setting up a library of plant drawings, equipment manuals and software programs
- Setting up and controlling an electrical spares store
- Responsible for the electrical condition of a 24-hour production facility
- Must be prepared to be on after hours call out
- Strong attention to detail
