RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with team leaders/ supervisors to achieve planed operational goals.
- Perform inspections on designated area of responsibility everyday.
- Planning and managing of tailings material on site and at depositing area
- Assist with the problem solving on operational challenges and report any deviation to the immediate supervisor.
- Adhering to discipline procedure in accordance with the company policy and procedure.
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations as per all safety legislation and company procedure.
- Extension and connecting of pipeline.
- Opening and closing for your performance.
- Ensure good housekeeping at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
EXPERINCE
- 0-2 Years relevant experience in an earth moving or familiar environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Tailings dam operation background/ experience in the mining or related industry for at least 2 years will be advantageous.
SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Good communication skills.
- Good planning and organizing.
- Team work and observant.
- Innovation and Actioned-orientated.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to understand the relevant standard operating procedure.
- Medically fit to work in mining environment.
- Must pass the mine’s criminal screening process.
- May be required to work overtime from time to time.
- Valid drivers license will be advantageous.
