Introduction
We are looking for an Electrical Technician to join our team with a minimum 2 years relevant experience as an Electrical Technician in the DC and HZ field.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate should have at least a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering industry working on Eskom Power Plants
Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyse electrical failure statistics and Predict failure through condition monitoring
- Conduct research on electrical equipment improvement
- Design plant lay outs, launch project and Manage projects
- Analyse electrical expenses and Projects completed within budget
- All electrical expenses accounted for and within budget
- Process improved above target and Plant produces more efficiently
- Problem failure is rectified in best logical solution and tested
- Apply clear verbal communication to any activities and maintenance reports
- Supervisors and other employees informed on maintenance activities and schedules
- Communicate all electrical maintenance events
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- minimum of 2 year’s experience as an Electrical Technician
- Must have power plant experience
- HAZLOC Certificate
- Good communications Skills
- No criminal record
