Broker Support Assistant / Personal Assistant

We are well seasoned brokers currently recruiting for a dynamic broker support assistant / personal assistant with superior communication, customer service and strong organizational skills to join our team. An outgoing and vibrant personality is required for this role as you will be dealing with customers telephonically.

Candidates preferably to be available to start beginning of May and preferably reside within a close proximity to the area, Northcliff and surrounds.

Permanent employment contract will be awarded after successfully completion of a 6 month probation period.

Educational requirements:

Minimum Grade 12

Bilingual (Afrikaans & English)

Driver’s License

Duties include but are not limited to:

Adhere to the company’s work process flow timeously.

Adapt to changes or improvements implemented by management.

Answering of telephones, taking and relaying messages.

Making of appointments and schedule meetings.

Cold calling and lead generation.

Maintain calendar and client database.

Gather information from clients and insurers for renewal negotiations.

Keep accurate and up to date records.

Maintain files and filing.

Accurately record and action written and verbal correspondence with clients and insurers.

Assist clients and insurers with queries and amendments.

Assist with presentations and reports.

Handle and finalize renewals with management supervision.

Preparation of client sheets, labels and wordings.

Assist with claims processing and feedback.

Assist with quotes on new clients.

Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with clients and insurers.

Starting salary R 6 000.00 plus commission.
