Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Artisan/Machine Operator. The Artisan/Machine Operator will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment, performing routine maintenance and repairs, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring production targets are met. The role requires working in the Western Cape, South Africa.
Qualifications
- Experience operating machinery and equipment
- Knowledge of mechanical and technical principles
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Previous experience in thermal spray coating or related industry is a plus
- Relevant technical certification or diploma is a plus
