Your areas of responsibility :.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Inspect electrical system, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Provide technical expertise and input in respect of equipment specifications, design, construction and installation of new or replacement equipment.
- Manage all Electrical HV and LV substations and motor control centres to ensure cleanliness and compliant with OSHAct & regulations.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
- Recognized Trade Test – Millwright
- 5 Years experience in Electrical / PLC in an industrial enviroment with knowledge of motors, industrial wiring, electro-mechanical drives, PLC application hardware and field control devices.
