Position Purpose
The purpose of the job is to independently, and as directed, provide your services for the maintenance of equipment and environment required by the production team in order to enable them to manufacture products according to GMP and ISO 9000 standards for our customers.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure that the Industrial HVAC and Refrigeration systems are inspected daily for conformance and that the necessary actions are taken to correct any deviation from standard. This includes regular maintenance and cleaning and record keeping of all work done
- Assist maintenance Technician in day-to-day maintenance operations this includes:
- Assisting with the tasks logged on the Maintenance tickets
- Assist team leaders in urgent maintenance matters to ensure that product can be made on time according to the production schedule
- Assist in the maintenance of all cold rooms, air handling and air conditioning units
- Assist with interchangeable duties throughout Roodeplaat as required and only if approved by the Operations Manager
- Ensure that you always wear necessary safety equipment
- Ensure that all scheduled work during a maintenance week is performed and documented
