Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have the following skills and attributes:
Qualification/Education:
- Trade qualification (NQF level 3) in mechanical or electrical or an equivalent technical qualification
- Registered LMI (An Advantage)
- Valid driver’s license
Skills & Knowledge:
- 3 – 5 years’ work experience in similar environment
- Read blueprints, schematics and understand technical data
- Use hand tools and trade type tools
- Experience on overhead cranes
- Experience on Invertor Drives and PLC’s
- Must be able to work in confined spaces, elevated areas and at heights
- Must be able to travel locally and outside SA for operational requirements
- Proficiency with MS Office applications e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Thinks in terms of profit and loss
- Anticipates and responds to the needs of customers
- Takes responsibility and drives performance
- Makes timely, well informed, effective decisions
- Builds respect and cooperation and manages conflicts constructively

- Must be able to work Overtime. Including weekends
