A poultry processing facility in Stutterheim is seeking to employ a Farm Electrician, to join our farm maintenance department. a Successful candidate will fit best with the following criteria:
Experience:
2-3 years in the poultry industry
6 months – 1 year managing a team
Qualifications:
Grade 12
wireman’s license
Duties:
- Electrical fault finding on chicken houses and equipment,
- Maintenance on chicken houses and buildings including Plumbing,
- Ensuring legislative compliance,
- Compiling Proactive maintenance checklists,
- Assisting with Installations,
- Ensuring all electrical systems are kept in a good state of repair to prevent breakdowns and system failures,
- Maintaining consumable levels,
- setting & adhering to budgets,
- Generator maintenance,
- standby / callout dutie.
