· Clearly and accurately relay technical information (Reports and Job Card recording)
This separation equipment is composed of a wide variety of parts, example: Bearings, Valves, Bushings, Gaskets, Liners, O-Rings, V-Belts, Pulleys, Scrolls, Filters, Hydraulic Components, Drives, Sensors and Operating Systems (Automation)
Ideal candidate would have knowledge on above mentioned parts and systems.
Requirements:
· 1+ Years experience in a similar role, after trade test
· 3+ Years experience in a similar role (no trade test)
· Able to perform duties listed above
· Dismounting and remounting of bearings
· Tensioning and alignment of v-belts
· Drilling and tapping holes
· General knowledge about mechanical equipment
· Ability to comprehend process flows
· Hand and power tool knowledge
· Read mechanical and electrical drawings
· Basic electrical knowledge (240V and 380V systems)
· Travel nationwide on short notice
· Scheduled (standby) and unscheduled (breakdown) weekend work
· Overtime (breakdown and/or scheduled work)
· Good computer skills (Microsoft Suite)
· Willing to work away from home (30%)
· Driver’s licence
· Forklift licence
The following would be to your advantage:
· Fitter, millwright, electrical and/or instrumentation trade tested or equivalent
· Basic hydraulic knowledge
· Basic welding knowledge
· Safety Training
· Code 10 Drivers License
· Experience capturing data on an ERP system
· Available immediately
· Reliable own transport to and from work
