APPRENTICES (1 x Lithographer, 1 x Mechanical Fitter, 1 x Fitter & Turner and 1 x Electrician)
The abovementioned opportunities exist in Metals Epping. The positions report to the Plant / Technical Trainer.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completion of all required theoretical modules for the trade
- Undergoing intensive on-the-job training and other related training
- Providing support to the production process with adequate levels of availability and reliability
- Demonstrating the ability to practically conduct maintenance and installations
- Acquiring problems solving and trouble shooting skills
- Adhering to plant rules and regulations
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Must be in possession of a Matric Certificate, with Maths, Physical Science and English second language with a minimum of 50./0 pass mark.
- Minimum NTC 3 engineering, with relevant trade theory as a subject.

- A good engineering understanding at a basic level

- Good interpersonal & communication skills, positive attitude, able to use own initiative, team oriented systematic and well organized
- Ability to work overtime and shifts when required
