Introduction
SP Metal Forgings Uitenhage wishes to appoint Fitter, Electrical and Tool, Jig and Die maker apprentices within the Maintenance and Toolroom departments, respectively.
Desired Experience & Qualification
The incumbent must have:
- Must have a technical matric or equivalent.
- Preference will be given to candidates that have successfully completed their N1 and N2 in the relevant field.
- Candidates with technical knowledge and experience will be given preference.
- Preference will be given to candidates within the youth category ages of 18-34.
Competencies:
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong disciplined approach to completing tasks and must be target driven.
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to use initiative.
- Detail oriented.
- A team player.
The successful incumbent must have the ability to work accurately and independently and have a good attendance and timekeeping record. The position could involve shift work.
