Job Purpose: To steam and clean production equipment for production use.

Responsibilities:

• Clean equipment by making use of the steam cleaner or other relevant tools.

• Ensure that all equipment is clean according to SOP

• Maintenance and cleaning of machinery and tooling

• Ensure that disinfectant log is updated

• Ensure that the tank cleaning checklist are completed accurately and authorized.

• Maintain a high standard of General Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in the department as per SOP .

• Maintain high standard of safety in the steam cleaning department.

• Ensure that all safety devices on the machines are working effectively

Requirements:

Essential:

• Grade 12 certificate

Desired:

• Basic Computer Literacy

• 1 year experience in FMCG or pharmaceutical.

• Previous cleaning experience

• Knowledge of HACCP

• Production documentation

• Reconciliation and Processes

• Knowledge of health and safety.
