What you will be doing:

  • Breakdown Analysis: Investigate equipment breakdowns and recommend solutions to minimise downtime.
  • System Review: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of information in our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Workshop Management: Oversee workshop activities, ensuring adherence to relevant standards.
  • Problem-Solving Culture: Help develop and maintain a culture of problem-solving through root cause analysis practices.
  • Reporting: Compile and analyse reports on KPIs, asset care compliance, artisan utilisation, employee management, and financial forecasts.
  • Advice and Solutions: Provide advice and problem-solving techniques for various engineering challenges.
  • Compliance: Assist in ensuring adherence to the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act).
  • Manufacturing Capability: Implement strategies like 5S and Reliability Centered Maintenance to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
  • Engineering Spares: Manage select aspects of engineering spares.
  • Lubrication Strategies: Develop and implement effective lubrication management strategies.

What you will need to be considered:

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Sciences or Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology with a major in Mechanical Engineering
  • A minimum average of 60% in the final year of studies

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience Bonus: Vacation or part-time work experience is a plus

  • Flexible Availability: Willingness to travel between our factories and work overtime and shifts as our factory operates continuously and flexibility is essential

  • Factory Enthusiast: Willingness to work in a manufacturing and factory environment with minimal office work
  • Mobile: Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
