Job Advert Summary
Reporting to the Instrumentation Foreman, the successful candidate will provide back-up and support to the Instrument Mechanician in order to assist in maintaining instrument installations so that no problems are experienced.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- One year working experience in a similar working environment.
- Basic Safety course/training
Primary Duties
- Provide general assistance to Instrument Mechanician.
- Transporting tools and materials to and from where work is being carrying out.
- Cleaning of tools and general cleaning duties.
- Assist Artisan with general cable work.
- Assist Artisan with Instrumentation calibration, identifying, handing over of tools, power tools and testing equipment
- Relief from time to time as Storeman in the Instrumentation workshop as and when required.
