About the Coca-Cola Beverages Learnership Programme

The learnership aims to provide structured work-based learning that equips participants with practical business and sales skills required in the modern retail environment.

Successful learners will be exposed to customer service, sales operations, merchandising standards, product visibility management, and commercial execution processes that support business growth across various retail outlets.

Participants will work closely with the Sales Team and Account Developers while gaining valuable industry knowledge and workplace experience.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Executing daily call schedules across assigned retail outlets.
  • Supporting merchandising activities and maintaining product visibility.
  • Implementing stock rotation and in-store display standards.
  • Monitoring product availability and quality standards.
  • Completing execution scorecards and iRED surveys.
  • Assisting customers with placing orders through the MyCCBA platform.
  • Supporting promotional campaigns and marketing activities.
  • Collaborating with sales teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Providing relief support when required by management.
  • Developing practical commercial and customer service skills.

Minimum Requirements For Coca-Cola Beverages Unemployed Learnership

To qualify for the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
  • Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy with a minimum pass rate of 40%.
  • English and a second language with a minimum pass rate of 40%.
  • South African citizen.
  • Between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
  • Must be unemployed at the time of appointment.
  • Must not be registered for full-time studies.
  • Must not currently be participating in another learnership programme.
  • Must not have previously completed the same qualification or learnership.
  • No criminal record.
  • No adverse credit record.
  • Willing to undergo criminal, qualification and identity verification checks.
  • Available to work six days per week.

Added Advantage

The following will be beneficial but are not mandatory:

  • Driver’s Licence.
  • Post-matric qualification in Sales and Marketing.

Learnership Duration

The programme will run for a period of 12 months.

Learners will be required to complete a qualification consisting of a minimum of 120 credits in order to successfully complete the programme.
