FLSmidth is inviting young candidates to apply for its 2026 Learnership Programme, which leads to an Occupational Certificate in Business Administration. Successful learners will combine formal education with workplace training and may gain exposure to departments including commercial, finance, operations, field services and administration.

FLSmidth operates internationally and provides technologies and services supporting industries involved in producing materials needed around the world.

Successful learners will become part of the company’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Region Team and will be based at one of three facilities:

• Chloorkop
• Stormill
• Constantia

What Qualification Will Learners Complete?

Successful candidates will work towards an Occupational Certificate in Business Administration.

The learnership curriculum is aligned with the requirements of the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO).

Rather than receiving only workplace experience, learners will therefore complete structured learning while gaining practical exposure inside the company.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Grade 12
• Mathematics – Mathematical Literacy is not accepted
• English
• At least a Level 3 pass (40%+)

Mathematics Is Required

FLSmidth specifically requires:

Mathematics – not Mathematical Literacy.
